£18,336 – £21,484 based on a 37.5 hour full time post depending on skills and experience plus Outer London Weighting (OLW) of £ 572 per annum.  This is a fixed term contract for one year

Herts Mind Network (HMN) is rapidly expanding. The Personal Budget Coordinator (PBC) will lead a small team and play a key role in working with Mind in Mid Herts, (MMH) the NHS Trust and Service Users across Hertfordshire to maximise the use of Personal Budgets. This new position will complement the core services across the organisation.

Working closely with Care Managers based at Community Mental Health Teams you will ensure they have a clear understanding of the work of HMN and MMH and the breadth of services on offer. You will provide Service Users with up to date information on our provision and share opportunities for them to use their Personal Budgets creatively and to their best advantage.

Ideally you will be a part qualified accountant with experience or AAT qualified with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. You will be supported by a Commercial Manager and the CEO, but will be expected to take full responsibility for the financial records, billing and credit control and be able to work confidently to extended trial balance. Previous experience of working for a charity or within a funded environment would be an advantage.

In partnership with Ascend we have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Counselling Coordinator to be based in South Oxhey at the Step Up Learning and Well-Being Centre. The post holder must be a qualified counsellor able to work with complex needs and a wide range of presenting issues.

The post holder will be responsible for developing counselling and other mental health support services, facilitate groups, managing their own caseload and allocate clients to a team of counsellors. We are looking for a motivated person who can develop the existing services, work independently and be part of a team.

Full-Time post 37.5 hours per week based at Watford Well Being Centre 

Herts Mind Network is a rapidly expanding mental health organisation delivering services from 7 Centre’s for Well Being in various locations across Hertfordshire. A dynamic and innovative provider, HMN is now striving to develop future opportunities via Social Enterprise to widen our geographical area and sustain current provision.

As part of a restructure, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager.  This role has been created and will initially be a one year fixed term post, with a possible conversion to Permanent position for the right candidate.

The post holder will be responsible for identifying and engaging with strategic opportunities for new business across the Network, taking the lead role in managing and growing HMN’s business sustainability via the Social Enterprise ‘Let’s Talk’. The post holder will work closely with the CEO to win new and maintain existing contracts and for meeting annually agreed success measures and business growth targets.

The post holder will also have responsibility for the planning and delivery of HMN’s marketing strategy, will support IT initiatives, and supervise the financial accounting/reporting function.  The role also will ensure high standards for administration and compliance to procedures and guidelines and look at continuous improvement.

A proven track record in a commercially focussed role, with some exposure to financial accounting, is essential.  The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate from past experience that they are able to meet all the relevant competencies associated with the position.
