About the service

We work in partnership with Turning Point and Herts Young Homeless to provide the countywide Complex Needs Service.

The service provides 1:1 community support to people recovering from mental health issues and additional complex needs, including drug and alcohol misuse and learning disabilities.

Working across Hertfordshire, we can support you in your own home or within your local community. We work together with you to design personalised support packages that reflect your individual needs, offering high quality support to help improve your quality of life enabling you to face the future with confidence.

No matter how complex your needs, we can provide the support that you need to feel less isolated, be more independent and make the most of every new opportunity.

How can we help?

We provide a flexible and creative service to support you, including:

  • Support in the community
  • Peer and volunteer support
  • Drop-in sessions throughout the county
  • Telephone and email support

Everyone we support is unique. Whether you have mental health issues yourself or are caring for someone who does - we are here for you.

We provide practical support that is built around you and your individual needs, promoting personal independence and recovery.

We can support you with:

  • Emotional and practical support
  • Solving real-life problems, including housing, debts and benefit issues
  • Signposting to carer’s services and support groups
  • Access or onward referral to other relevant community based services
  • Informal family support
  • Reducing episodes of crisis
  • Building confidence, self-esteem, social networks and life skills
  • Building new social networks
