In light of the developing situation with COVID-19 we have made alternative arrangements to ensure the continuity of our crisis services.

Support will be provided remotely via our Nightlight Crisis Helpline from 17/03/2020 until further notice

About our service

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and would like someone to talk to, you can call our Crisis Helpline.

Our helpline will provide emotional support, advice and information if you are feeling distressed and are in crisis. You can also call us if your mental health is impacted by the current Coronavirus outbreak.

We will offer you sensitive and non-judgmental support from our team of dedicated Crisis Support Workers and Peer Mentors who will provide you with:

  • Time and space to talk
  • Support with crisis resolution and building coping strategies
  • Advice and information
  • Signposting
  • Onward referral

Anyone experiencing mental health distress can call the Helpline for emotional support and signposting.

Professionals, family/friends can call on someone’s behalf with the individual’s consent.
