Thank You Casey and Hudson!

Casey and her 5 year old son Hudson chose to fundraise for us by walking 150 miles throughout October.  Casey said “mental health awareness is something that is really important to myself and Hudson, as mental health is something I have had to deal with on a personal level.  We chose to fundraise for Hertfordshire Mind Network because the services that they provide are a lifeline for so many.  We ended up walking 159 miles in total and Hudson couldn’t be any prouder if he tried!”

Charity Golf Fundraiser

Thank You Team Prepared from Tescos

A huge congratulations to Team Prepared from Tesco’s for battling with driving rain and high winds to reach the top of Snowdon and raising £2,637 for Hertfordshire Mind Network!

Helen from Team Prepared said “Mind do such an amazing job of supporting people when they really need it and we wanted to recognise that. The climb up Snowdon was a massive challenge for the team due to the awful weather but it brought us a lot closer as a team and was really worthwhile.”

Thank you so much to the team for taking on this challenge, the money raised will go towards ensuring that everyone in Hertfordshire with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for support and advice.

Thank You CrossFit Huntsman and Farm Fitness

We would like to thank two local fitness organisations, CrossFit Huntsman and Farm Fitness, who joined together over 2 weekends to work hard, push themselves out of their comfort zones and raise money for Hertfordshire Mind Network, as mental health is a cause close to their hearts.

They raised an amazing £340.70.

Tim's Autumn Wolf Run Fundraiser

A big congratulations to Tim Nutley who completed the Autumn Wolf Run on 7th September raising £197 (and counting!) for Hertfordshire Mind Network.

Tim said “I wanted to do something different and get out of my comfort zone whilst helping others who have been in the same or similar position as me and the Wolf Run seemed the perfect thing”.

Icely Done's Skydive Fundraiser!

A huge thank you to the team from Icely Done for braving the skies and jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft and raising money for Hertfordshire Mind Network in the process! Currently they have raised £630 however help them reach their target of £2500 by donating at JustGiving.

Thank You to Letchworth Garden City Church

We would like to thank Carl Johnston (senior minister) and his wife Dani Johnston (children’s pastor) of the Letchworth Garden City Church for donating an astronomical £12,287.46 to Hertfordshire Mind Network. The money will go towards providing services at our Letchworth Wellbeing Centre.

We work very closely with the church at our Friday group and they help support us as well as clients. 

We have held our group at the church at Christmas and at Easter and they have been very generous with providing gifts for the group members over the years. 

Our colleague Karon also works closely with Dani who is always happy to join us at local events.

Thank you Hightown Housing Association

Hertfordshire Mind Network are thrilled that Hightown has chosen us their sponsored Charity and we have been amazed and inspired by the fundraising that has taken place within their teams over the last 12 months. This additional funding will enable us to reach out and support more people who are experiencing mental ill health in our local communities. We are hoping this new connection with a housing provider will open more doors for partnership working and we look forward to developing our partnership with Hightown over the year ahead.

Woodmansterne Publications

We would like to say a BIG thank you to Woodmansterne Publications for raising a phenomenal £1,823.73 for our charity Hertfordshire Mind Network. Anna (seen here on the left) was presented with the cheque yesterday by Rachel from Woodmansterne at our Watford Wellbeing Centre.

Waitrose Bishop's Stortford

We would like to thank Waitrose in Bishop's Stortford for making us their Charity of the Month and raising an amazing £567! Karen (pictured right) was presented with the cheque by Tracy (Community Matters Champion at Waitrose).

Chorleywood Golf Club

We would like to say a big thank you to Chorleywood Golf Club for raising a whopping £311 for our charity, through a raffle organised by the Ladies Captain, Maggie Parry.

Chorleywood Golf Club have asked that the money raised will go towards our Counselling for Young Adults appeal.

GSK, Ware


We would like to thank GSK in Ware for raising £71.58 for our charity in celebration of World Mental Health Day 2018 by holding a bake sale.

HF Holidays


HF Holidays recently had a cake competition in their Elstree office in recognition of World Mental Health Day.

Staff baked cakes and were able to give a donation to Hertfordshire Mind Network to judge the cakes in the office raising £150.02 for Hertfordshire Mind Network.

We want to say a huge thank you to Plowman Craven for their fantastic donation to us. They recently took part in the prestigious Property Regatta sailing event and managed to finish in first place! Ben and Team 3

We would like to thank Ben and Team 3, who as part of their NCS programme, cycled to raise awareness of mental health and challenge the stigma attached to this. The Rising Sun, Halls Green

The Rising Sun in Halls Green made us their chosen charity for this year's Rising Sun Beer/Music Festival, raising a fantastic £1,333.16!

The congregation of All Saints’ Church in South Oxhey raised a fantastic £322.81 for Hertfordshire Mind Network. We were one of their nominated good causes and they have held fundraising events throughout the year.

Tracy Derry

Tracy Derry raised a tremendous £325.00 for our Green Minds project by completing the Milton Keynes Half Marathon.
