About this course

Does anxiety have an impact on your daily life?  Our Managing Anxiety course can help you highlight the triggers and suggest alternate ways of coping with these.

Course aims and objectives

  • Understand anxiety symptoms
  • How to prevent and control anxiety symptoms
  • Explore the relationship between thoughts, behaviour and physical symptoms
  • Learn to challenge unhelpful thoughts
  • Gradually adapt your behaviour in anxiety provoking situations

Course format

This course is six 2 hour sessions over six weeks in a small group.  A qualified tutor will teach techniques and lead discussions in an informal, safe and supportive environment where you can explore current coping skills, develop these and new skills, to help you manage your anxiety more effectively.
