About this course

Do you spend time dwelling on the past and worrying about the future?  Our Mindfulness course can help you recognise triggers, how these affect your mood and how to view things differently.

Course aims and objectives

  • What Mindfulness is
  • Learn how to make the most of life now by becoming more aware of the present
  • Recognise triggers that affect mood and how mood is affected by these triggers
  • Learn how you can take positive action allowing your to view thoughts and situations from a different perspective

Course format

This course is six 2 hour sessions over six weeks in a small group.  A qualified tutor will teach techniques and lead discussions in an informal, safe and supportive environment where you can explore current and new skills to incorporate into your daily life to help break the cycle of anxiety and stress.
