Purpose of role

Volunteers will work on a weekly rota to offer support and information to patients on the wards of Kingsley Green, the acute inpatient mental health unit in Radlett.

Patients can find the experience of being in an acute unit unsettling; volunteers can help provide some normality to their situation through talking with them and taking them for short trips outside the unit. t.

Time commitment

Flexible, there is a weekly rota and ideally volunteers will commit to a minimum of  2 x 2 hour shift per week.
