At Hertfordshire Mind Network, we encourage everyone who uses our services to get involved. Your personal experiences help us understand mental health better and improve our work.
When people with lived experience take part in interview panels, workshops, focus groups, or training, their insights make a real difference. They understand what it’s like to face mental health challenges and the effects it has on individuals and families.
We value all lived experiences and believe they provide important insights. To ensure we hear from a wide variety of voices, we welcome involvement from anyone, not just those who have been supported by Hertfordshire Mind Network. If you’ve experienced mental ill health yourself or cared for someone who has, we’d love to hear from you. Whether or not you’ve used our services, your story can help us improve and support more people.
We have many ways for people with lived experience of mental health challenges to get involved in our charity. You can give feedback, provide compliments or quotes, share your story, or complete questionnaires. We also offer involvement roles like joining interview panels, helping with training, or supporting us at events.
Every bit of involvement is important and helps us improve our work.
Your experience matters. If you’ve used Hertfordshire Mind Network services in the past or are currently involved, we’d love to hear your story. Sharing your journey can inspire others and show the impact of our work.
You can share in whatever format you prefer—writing, video, poetry, art, or any other way that feels right to you.
If you’d like to share your story, contact us at: [email protected]
Your feedback on our services is important. If you’ve used our services, we’d appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete our feedback form. Your thoughts help us improve and provide better support to those who need it.
We want to make sure our website is easy to use and helpful. If you have feedback about your experience on our site, we’d love to hear from you. Please complete our questionnaire to help us improve our website.
You can also send us feedback through this short online form.
You can choose to do this anonymously, or you can provide your name and contact details if you would like one of the team to get back to you to discuss your feedback.
You can help us by joining interview panels to recruit the right staff, contributing to our training courses with your valuable insights, or supporting us at community events to raise awareness of mental health. Your experience can make a big difference in shaping our work and helping others.
Please get in touch with us at [email protected] if you would like to know more about any of these roles.
