Get involved with Hertfordshire Mind Network

At Hertfordshire Mind Network, we encourage everyone who uses our services to get involved. Your personal experiences help us understand mental health better and improve our work.

When people with lived experience take part in interview panels, workshops, focus groups, or training, their insights make a real difference. They understand what it’s like to face mental health challenges and the effects it has on individuals and families.

Being involved in the case study and the interview panel was a really great experience for me. Attending meeting places and completing my 1-2-1 support has been amazing for me so it felt super empowering to be able to give something back. Being involved made me feel valued, increased my confidence and showed me that Herts Mind Network really do take lived experience and the voice of the service user seriously. It was brilliant to be involved. Thank you again.

You don’t need to have used our services to get involved in our work

We value all lived experiences and believe they provide important insights. To ensure we hear from a wide variety of voices, we welcome involvement from anyone, not just those who have been supported by Hertfordshire Mind Network. If you’ve experienced mental ill health yourself or cared for someone who has, we’d love to hear from you. Whether or not you’ve used our services, your story can help us improve and support more people.
