About the group

The group will provide a sanctuary for the LGBTQ+ community, providing a safe space, free from discrimination, where you can share experiences, learn new skills and improve your quality of life.

The group will provide:

  • A safe place to talk about feelings and experiences
  • Peer to peer support
  • Advice and information
  • An opportunity to build social networks
  • Signposting to other organisations and activities
  • Support to build resilience and learn tools and techniques to promote wellbeing

The group will take place in the evenings to ensure that they can be accessed by as many people as possible, including those in employment and education.

The sessions will be run by a LGBTQ+ facilitator and this group will have a mix of wellbeing, social support and peer support.

The group will help to combat loneliness and isolation by enabling people to connect with each other, share their experiences and build a support network.

Please note these sessions are for Hertfordshire residents.
