Side by Side

Side by Side is a supportive online community where you can feel at home talking about your mental health and connect with others who understand what you are going through.

We all know what it’s like to struggle sometimes, but now there’s a safe place to listen, share and be heard. Whether you’re feeling good right now, or having a hard time, it’s a safe place to share experiences and listen to others. The community is available to all, 24/7.

Side by Side is moderated daily from 8.30am to midnight.

Mindline Trans+ national helpline

Mindline Trans+, national helpline for people who identify as Trans, non-binary & their friends and families.

MindLine Trans+ is a confidential emotional, mental health support helpline and signposting service for people who identify as Transgender, Agender, Gender Fluid and Non-binary. They provide a safe place to talk about your feelings confidentially. They don’t record calls nor ask for any personal details.

Mindout

MindOut are an LGBTQ mental health charity based in Brighton. They offer a free online service specifically for LGBTQ people and can be accessed from anywhere in the UK or abroad.

People make contact for emotional support when other services are not open, when they are not able to access LGBTQ support in their local area or if they just need to chat to someone when they are going through a difficult time. 

Their trained online support workers are also able to signpost people to support they may not know is out there for them.

Their service is anonymous and confidential which is important for those who may not be out as LGBTQ.
