Our Peer Support Academy training course focuses on using your lived experience of mental ill health to improve your wellbeing and live a fulfilling life.
This involves using the 10 values and principles of the Herts Mind Network Peer Support Charter to continue to develop your mental wellbeing.
You will learn how to use your lived experience to support yourself and others. You will also get to reflect on whether you want to embark on using your lived experience to help support others, or to create change in mental health services.
These courses are ideal if you have already made some progress towards better mental health & wellbeing, or you would like to continue your progress.

The course content was a surprise. Whilst I expected to cover the charter and what it means for those who come to us at HMN – it was full of compassion and genuine care for the wellbeing of those offering care to others. Thank you!
