Hertfordshire Mind Network is a respected provider of counselling and is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Counselling is a talking therapy and we provide short term, safe and confidential counselling services to support people who are struggling with their mental or emotional health, or who need to talk through specific issues that are impacting upon their lives.
In the sessions you and your counsellor will work together to explore and process your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so that you can develop a better understanding of yourself, your situation and others.
The counsellor is not there to tell you what to do, diagnose or give you advice, but they will help you to look at things from different perspectives and support you in your journey of self-growth, so that you can find ways to move forward, make effective life changes, develop useful skills for managing and coping with your problems, or find some resolution and peace.
Our team consists of qualified, or trainee placement counsellors with a variety of experience and theoretical approaches; however, at the core of counselling is you and the therapeutic relationship that you and your counsellor will build together.
