It is vital for us to raise funds to support our services and activities in the local community.

There are many ways individuals, groups, local organisations and businesses can support our work, and without these we wouldn’t be able to help as many people as we do.

If you would like further support or advice about setting up a fundraising event, please get in touch.

Ideas for events

There are lots of ways in which you can raise money for us:

  • Host a quiz night at your local pub, community centre or school and charge an entry fee to take part.
  • Supermarket bag packing
  • Car boot sale
  • Cake sale
  • Organise a raffle – ask local shops and businesses if they will donate items or gift vouchers as prizes – contact us for a letter of authority to help with this
  • Birthday or a celebration coming up? How about asking family and friends to make a donation to us rather than buying a psresent.
  • Arrange an auction
  • Sale of plants
  • Take part in a sponsored event

We have our own online fundraising platform to help you set up your fundraising activity and make it easy for your friends and family to donate too. It’s a really simple process, and you can personalise your page with details of your fundraising event and an image. Please follow the link below:
