An Employment Advisor can provide tailored employment support services to help individuals find, sustain, or transition into new work opportunities. Our support includes:
- Skills development
- Education or training
- Employability assessments
- Career mentoring
- Job search assistance
How can we help?
We provide support and enable people with mental health issues to access employment, training, education and volunteering activities.
We work with you through various forms of support, to help you to:
- Support you to remain in your current job
- Identify pre-employment and job skills training
- Create or update an existing CV
- Assist with completing job application forms
- Improve your interview skills and techniques
- Build confidence and self-esteem through social and inclusive activities
We take a person-centred approach, working with you one-on-one to overcome barriers and achieve your goals. Our employment advisor will provide tailored assistance to support you:
- Access further education, training, or voluntary work
- Find paid employment
- Enhance your quality of life
- Promote social inclusion through engaging activities
Our aim is to empower you to succeed in your career while improving your mental health and wellbeing.
Areas we cover
We offer face-to-face support in the following areas:
- St Albans
- Hemel Hempstead
- Watford
- Hatfield
- London Colney
We also provide remote support across the whole county, so you can access help wherever you are.
Who can refer
This service is available to anyone aged 18+ who has a mental health condition and would like some support with employment.Â
