Gardening Volunteer (The Sadie Centre)

Purpose of role

To support with the upkeep of the gardens & site at our Letchworth site – The Sadie Centre.

Main tasks

The main tasks for this role are as follows:

  • Weed the flower beds.
  • Keep the garden tidy & sweep up leaves.
  • Sweep up pine needles
  • Cut grass. (using ride-on mower for large lawn or normal mower for small lawns)
  • Seasonal trimming of plants / shrubs.
  • Clear rubbish that has blown into the garden from the neighbouring areas.
