Are you supporting or caring for someone (friend, family or partner) who needs regular assistance due to an illness?

Supporting someone you care about can have an impact on your own wellbeing. We offer support and services to carers as we recognise it is important to take time out from your caring role and to reduce feelings of pressure and isolation.

Our services include carers specific services (carers self supported groups and carers awareness workshops and training programme) as well as our core adult and young people services.

Our self supported Carers Group will run at each of our 7 Wellbeing Centres across the county on a monthly basis.

The purpose of the groups are to allow carers to take time out from their caring role, provide opportunities to share experiences and information with other carers, learn new skills and meet new carers. The group also aims to reduce the feeling of pressure and stress of being a carer and to reduce isolation.
